Hi everyone,

I'm happy to announce the availability of JDOM Beta 6! It's
dramatically more featureful and reliable than Beta 5. JDOM now
supports JAXP and Crimson, parentage has been added to nodes, nodes are
no longer allowed to be double-added, inputters and outputters are much
better at handling namespaces, methods deprecated in beta5 have been
removed, the Verifier class has been sped up significantly, error
reporting has gotten more descriptive, and a pile of bugs have been
fixed. A full list of changes since Beta 5 can be found in the file
"CHANGES.txt" in the root directory of the distribution. The list of
known remaining items is in "TODO.txt".

The release is available at http://jdom.org/dist/source. It includes
both source code and a pre-built jdom.jar. There's even a
jdom-jdk11.jar for JDK 1.1 users.

I'll be updating the web content soon.

Enjoy!
