You have DOM Level 1 classes in your classpath ahead of xerces.jar - did
you ensure that xml.jar and projectx.jar and tr2.jar and other
variations are after xerces.jar in your servlet engine classpath? This
is detailed in Ch. 11, the XML-RPC chapter you are referring to. Get
xerces.jar ahead of those others and it will work.
