[jdom-interest] Build Question

Alrightythen....

I finally finished Jason's 2d Edition and have started Brett's book.  Brett refers to JDOM 1.0 in the intro and Chapter 8 (as well as mentioning the brain-storming session he and Jason had in Santa Clara one evening - very near to where I grew up), but the last RC I downloaded and integrated was v.7.  Would someone please attempt to clear my confusion?
