Just run the following from the project root:

cvs diff -u -D "last Monday" | less

Examples of valid date specifications include:
                        400000 seconds ago
                        last year
                        last Monday
                        a fortnight ago
                        3/31/92 10:00:07 PST
                        January 23, 1987 10:05pm
                        22:00 GMT

The "-u" means "unified diff" format which is easier to read.

For the actual log with the commit messages, use

cvs log -d "1/1/2001<6/30/2001"

(I think -- the docs are a little vague, but that seems to work.)
