[jdom-interest] Verifier main() method

The Verifier class has a main() method that seems to be a holdover from 
some testing a while ago. I don't see any really reason this should 
still be in the class. It's probably time to delete it. If the code is 
still necessary (I doubt it is) it belongs in a new class, possibly a 
test class.
