The JDOM docs page on the web site at
http://www.jdom.org/downloads/docs.html states:

New York XML Users Group
The following presentation was given by Elliotte Rusty Harold to the
New York XML Users Group. It is an introduction to JDOM that includes
several good example programs as well as some comparisons to DOM and
SAX. A previous version of this talk was given at the New York C++
and Java SIG PG Users' Group meeting at XML DevCon 2000. Thanks to
Elliotte for permission to link to his slides.

*	Older slides for SIG at XML DevCon 2000 (HTML format)

Unfortunately these slides are very out of date (I think they
describe beta 3!) and I just got another e-mail from a confused
reader who expected this two-year old talk to still describe the
current state of JDOM. I suggest we delete this and (optionally)
replace it with something like the following

<p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b><font size="2"

Elliotte Rusty Harold's upcoming book
<a href="http://www.cafeconleche.org/books/xmljava/">Processing XML
with Java</a> (Addison-Wesley, 2002) contains extensive coverage of
JDOM. The complete text of the book is available online at Cafe con

<li>Chapter 14: <a
<li> Chapter 15: <a
JDOM Model</a></li>

I'd submit a patch, but the web site doesn't appear to be in CVS.
