[jdom-interest] a question about validation

hi,
I have a question about validation. 
I use JDOM and when I have got a document by parser and have made some
changes to the jdom tree(document) 
then I want to know whether the document which has been changed is valid
according to DTD.
Is there any method in JDOM to do that validation except parsing the
document again?
Any help is appreciated.
