[jdom-interest] Question about JDOM support for ID and IDREF

Does JDOM have any support for ID and IDREF?  I saw a fairly old tutorial 
that indicated it was in the "To-do" category, and wonder if it is done, or 
even close.

There seems to be a limited support for them through some classes in 
jdom-contrib.  Are these usable for a production application?

I can always maintain my own HashTable, but support in JDOM would certainly 
make my life easier.
